When my 2 children became teens, I noticed we connected more as a family when we traveled. We were free of daily responsibilities and distractions.
And let’s be real. Teens have a lot of distractions!
I started Detail Oriented Traveler to help other busy parents like myself plan more travel before their kids move out.
Together we’ve traveled to over 35 states and counting. We camp, road trip, and fly. We stayed everywhere from private rooms and rustic campsites to luxury hotels. It doesn’t matter as long as we’re spending quality time together.
